How it works

Questions

Is this the same as converting pages to images?

No. This recovers the images that were placed in the document. To turn whole pages into pictures, use PDF to JPG.

Why did I get more images than I expected?

Some PDFs store one picture as several tiles, and background textures count too. A minimum-size filter removes the noise.
