Create Bookmarks

Build an outline so readers can navigate the document.

Options

One per line: page number, then the title. e.g. "1 Introduction"

Only if the file is password-protected.

How it works

  2. 2Choose the options you need; defaults work for most files.
  3. 3Press Process and watch the progress in real time.
  4. 4Download the result. Anonymous files are deleted shortly after.

Questions

Can bookmarks be generated automatically?

Yes, from heading-like text or from a page interval. Review them before saving — detection is a heuristic.

How deep can nesting go?

Up to six levels, which matches what readers display comfortably.

Files are checked to be what they claim (by content, not extension), processed in a sandboxed worker with no network, and deleted on the schedule your plan sets. We do not run antivirus and do not claim to — please do not upload files you do not trust. Read the security page.
